Therapeutic Foundation Practitioner Award
Strong Therapeutic Foundation training is the cornerstone for every foster care organisation. The Therapeutic Foundation Course is designed to transform children and young people who have encountered severe disruption, abuse or trauma. It focuses on practical strategies that really work!
Course Aims
To develop an understanding of what therapeutic care is and how to implement strategies in a home environment.
To offer training around a variety of areas including Managing Behaviours, Dealing & Understanding Trauma as well as
exploring specific issues.
