I honestly don’t think I can put into words just how much I have enjoyed completing the AQA Therapeutic Practitioner Award. It has been such a positive and meaningful experience, and I have taken so much from the course, both personally and professionally.

The amount of information and knowledge shared throughout the course has been incredible. There have been so many moments where things have really clicked for me and helped me understand children, their behaviours, emotions and experiences in a completely different way. I feel like I have learnt so much and have gained knowledge that I will carry with me and use every day.

Tash and Lisa have been absolutely amazing. They are two genuinely lovely people who are so passionate, caring and knowledgeable about what they do. They create such a safe, supportive and welcoming environment where you never feel silly for asking a question or sharing your own experiences. Their encouragement and understanding have made such a difference to me throughout the course.

You can tell how much they genuinely care about helping people develop and make a difference in the lives of children and young people. They don’t just deliver a course — they share their experience, passion and knowledge in a way that stays with you.

I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to complete this award with Tash and Lisa. I have come away feeling more confident, more knowledgeable and even more passionate about the work I do.

I’ve done a few courses with Tash and Lisa now and really hope I get to do more. The Advanced Therapeutic Practitioner course I attended has been truly life changing for me and my family. I am a foster parent and have faced many challenges that without their knowledge, expertise and guidance we wouldn’t have managed. They are true subject matter experts, genuine, funny and down to earth with no judgement. We covered a lot and some really hard subject matter but they managed to deliver them in a down to earth, warm and open manner. They kept it real and grounded and easy to understand and learn. They were respectful and not condescending, which I’ve found to be a rarity in a lot of these courses with other trainers. I have attended many courses whilst being a foster parent but none that have truly impacted me or been as useful to me as theirs. I highly recommend their courses to anyone and will be looking for more that I can attend

I have recently completed an 18 month AQA course with Tash and Lisa...what a fabulous course. Have learnt so much that I'll be putting into practice with the young people I support. The way the training was delivered was professional and fun and the substantial folder of notes will be an amazing resource. I'd highly recommend any courses run by these ladies as you're sure to enjoy and learn.

I've just finished this fantastic course and cannot recommend it highly enough. For anyone working with children, it is a real game changer that will enhance both your knowledge and confidence. Taking this course is a decision you won't regret.

Great service for reactive and proactive support. They have been dynamic and child focused always being able to use therapeutic approaches to enhance the quality of care and support that is being delivered.

Five star ladies with a five star podcast. With so many years of experience between them, Lisa and Tash have plenty of no nonsense advice and strategies that work. They have walked in your shoes and it shows in their deep understanding of the difficulties we all face with our children. Don’t miss this!

We are very excited to have Natasha and Lisa as trainers for The Hazel Project. They bring a wealth of knowledge across a wide range of subjects.

We’re currently completing the AQA Advanced Therapeutic Practitioners Award, and the training has been incredibly engaging. It often feels like we step into the room and the session is over in no time—it’s that interesting! The discussions have been rich and thought-provoking.

We also have neurodivergence training coming up, which our foster parents really enjoy. We already have a full class signed up for it!

What can I say about Lifetrain UK, wow, what an amazing organisation, they support foster/ adoptive parents and caregivers through their many different training courses, but what's amazing is their knowledge about issues affecting children. Their experience in helping people manage neurodivergent children, suicide prevention and much more is second to none. Natasha and Lisa are amazing people and truly care about the people they support. If you're looking for help with navigating being a parent then I honestly couldn't recommend them more.
